Tu pars?
Verbs like partir, sortir, dormir and servir will all have similar endings.

ils/elles partent | ils/elles dorment |
They have the same endings in the passé composé as well!
Je suis parti en retard. | I left late. |
J'ai dormi à l'hôtel. | I slept at the hotel. |
Le restaurant sert des pizzas froides ! | The restaurant serves cold pizzas! |
Talk about spending money
Où est mon portefeuille ? | Where is my wallet? |
Il ne faut pas trop dépenser. | You must not spend too much. |
Tu vas dépenser tout cet argent ? | Are you going to spend all of this money? |
Où est ma carte bancaire ? | Where is my debit card? |
Ce costume coûte très cher. | This suit is very expensive. |
Nous avons de l'argent et nous en dépensons pour notre famille. | We have some money and we spend some of it on our family. |
J'en ai beaucoup!
Remember that en means some, as in Il y a du thé, et j'en ai. To specify just how much you have, you can add a quantity after the verb.
Tu as des timbres ? Oui, j'en ai dix. | Do you have any stamps? Yes, I have ten. |
Ma sœur économise de l'argent, mais mon frère en dépense beaucoup. | My sister saves money, but my brother spends a lot of it. |
Tu as beaucoup de chaussures parce que tu en achètes trop ! | You have a lot of shoes because you buy too many! |
