Animals

We are at the zoo. There are many animals here.

The elephant is a big animal. It has a long nose. . . Its head is big, and

it has big ears. But its eyes are small, and its tail is small too. . . Its legs are thick. It is a very heavy animal.

The giraffe is a tall animal. Not exactly big, but tall: it has long legs and a very long neck. Its body is big, but its head, its tail and its paws are very small.

The monkeys are very funny. They are like people: they have a body, a head, arms and legs. They have hands and their feet are similar to their hands. Their face is like a human face: eyes, nose, mouth, ears. . .

The frogs are strange. For some people they are beautiful but for most people they are ugly. They have an ugly green skin. They have no hair. Their fingers and toes are long. Their arms are short, but their legs are long and strong. Their tongue is very long, too. They have no ears and no tail, but they have a big mouth.

Eagles are very beautiful. They are birds. They have wings, feathers and a beak. They have no arms and they have no ears. They have no mouth and no teeth, because they have a beak. Their beak is hard and sharp. Their nails are sharp, too. They are very dangerous to small animals.

The lions are big cats with long hair on their heads. They are beautiful but they are also dangerous, not only for small animals but also for bigger animals and for people. Their teeth and their nails are very strong and sharp.
