Basic - Review - Part 5

In my family there are fourteen people: my father, my mother, my sister, my two brothers, my grandparents, my uncles, my aunts, my cousins and I.

A bicycle is cheaper than a motorcycle.

A motorcycle is cheaper than a car.

A car is cheaper than a boat.

A boat is cheaper than an aeroplane.

She was wearing a white shirt and a pink skirt, a black belt and red shoes. She was also wearing a white hat, a neck chain and earrings. She was not wearing glasses.

  • -Which is better, radio or tv?
    • -For me, neither radio nor tv: internet is better than both.

There are many people here, from many countries. There are Argentinian, Mexican, Italian, French, Russian, Greek, Japanese, Brazilian, Chinese and Egyptian people here. I do hear people speaking English, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Chinese, Arabic and Japanese.

  • –How are you feeling?
    • –I am not feeling well... I have a headache, and I have a fever, too. I feel pain in the stomach, and I am very tired.

The office is ready, everything is now in place: the desks, the computers, the files, the bookshelves, the chairs and the typewriters.

–Who is playing? –I am not sure. I am not sure even which game is this. Is it football? –No, it is not. It is basketball. –Oh, I don’t like it. I prefer volleyball.
