Family
My family is wonderful!
That is my father. His name is John. He is a carpenter. He is working now.
This is my mother. Her name is Meg. She is cooking dinner now.
That is my sister Anne. She is younger than me. She is twelve years old. She is studying French.
These are my two little brothers.
They are younger than me. They are younger than Anne, too. They are playing video-game.
This is our dog, Brandon. It is a beautiful brown Labrador. It is sleeping now.
My grandparents are not living with us. They are in their house, in the neighbour town.
My uncle Jeff is living with us. He is working in an office down town. He is saving money to buy a house.
That is my other uncle, Tom, and that is his wife, Marisa. They are not living in this town any more, but today they are visiting us.
Those are my cousins, Peter and Elsa. They are very annoying. Uncle Tom and aunt Elsa are their parents.
And that is uncle Roger. He is not my father’s brother, and he is not my mother’s brother. He is my father’s old friend, so for us he is part of the family.
