  • Él sobrevivió al accidente de avión. – “He survived the plane crash.”
  • No es el más fuerte el que sobrevive. – “It’s not the strongest the one who survives.”
  • Un poeta puede sobrevivir a cualquier cosa excepto un error de impresión. – “A poet can survive everything but a misprint.”
  • Es muy difícil sobrevivir en una ciudad grande sin endeudarse. – “It’s really difficult to survive in a big city without endebting oneself.”

Obs.: Se dice también “supervivir“. Del mismo modo: sobreviviente / superviviente (“survivor”); pero: supervivencia y no sobrevivencia (“survival”).
